Ruby - Good luck with tomorrow's interview

Ruby I hope things are better soon, and your back is ok.

We have had a very mixed day today.

DP decided for some daft reason that it would be best if I dropped him at work and picked him up after, which meant ocver an hour extra in the car before our day out, and two in the evening as we had to wait for him to fit a bath, while eating chinese takeaway in the car.

Chinese was a big treat, and much appreciated tbh, and most of the day out was great despite rain...dd2 (a large 7) came home in my friends 5 yr olds clothes, and he came home in my 2 yr old ds'!

But our finances are going from bad to worse.

DP had his client complaining about the job taking too long, and I really wanted to ring her back and tell her to stick the job, but we have nothing to go away with next week, if she doesn't pay him something

And too for you Jas. DH lost 2 weks pay this month so a short pay check and as he doesn't know when he'll get paid again he's dictating that we have to eak it out until payday. Like I cost any cash at all well, the weekend red wine bill, ok.

This week, tea has been broad beans from our neighbour in a cheese and veg sauce with pasta and sunday's leftovers made into a soup with loads of veggies. Tomorrow it's search through the freezer.
