My cat has fleas! Have tted her but what about the house.....

Yuk yuk yuk.

My cat has recently decided being a house cat isn't enough for her and roams the back alley of our block of houses.
She now has fleas!

DS has bites on his ankles and I'm horrified. I have got the cat a newflea colloar and put spot on repellant on her.

But I am itchy thinking of this, she sleeps on the sofa, on any bed that takes her fancy... how can I 'clean' them of any fleas or eggs? Bleurgh!

We have done all of the foregoing, had four professional pest treatments, hoovered twice a day, steam cleaned and have ripped out all carpets and soft furnishings yet they remain. Loads of the bastards in the trap this morning. The pest man said that they are experiencing a mutant strain at the moment. Just pulled one off my toddler. I want to burn the house down. Sods would probably still survive.

We have had our house done by a professional £200 later and and 10 days wait, they're nearly all gone and Im being bitten much less if at all. Good luck, IME getting a professional to come and spray your house with insecticide is the only way.
