Does anyone know of any good websites - need some suggestions to help me cook meals that not only adults will eat but also children.

sainsbos

iamdingdong · 09/08/2008 16:06

not sure how that will link for you - there are recipes for ech month, some better than others!

Chicken thighs, potatoes and carrots. Skin the thighs and bake them in the oven, steam the carrots and potatoes.

'Value' white frozen fish fillets. This is usually pollack. Bake in the oven with lime juice and pepper, and serve with noodles, and stirfried onions and broccoli

Cowboy casserole - turkey mince in a saucepan with a tin of baked beans, a tin of tomatoes and a dash of worcestershire sauce. serve with mash and frozen peas.

Checked out the sainsbos website but is there anywhere that actually gives you costing?

the link was to the feed your family for a fiver section, though it may not have come out like that, they may just link to home page - go to recipes, then feed your family for a fiver section

iamdingdong · 09/08/2008 16:23

then if you like a recipe you can clikc on buy ingredients and see the costs, then buy elsewhere if cheaper!

Use the Sainbury's recipes and buy the ingredients at Asda.

May even look at Lidls - not tight but can't believe how much food has increased.
