Hiya I have read that vinegar is good for cleaning litter trays as it dissolves the calcium deposits - I think this is the part im having trouble shifting.

However (hes the silly question) what type of vinegar am I supposed to buy? thanks

I think I've used white/clear vinegar. If you leave it for a while it should dissolve the deposits and any harder to shift bits can be scrubbed off with a brush.
