Vegetable Oil in recipe - what exactly should I use?

I am in the process of baking a carrot and banana cake and the recipe states to use 180 ml of vegetable oil. What could I use - would Olive Oil be ok? Any help greatly appreciated.

Olive oil has a distinctive taste which you will notice and either mind or not mind. I would use sunflower.

I wouldn't use olive oil, it has quite a strong flavour. Sunflower oil?

Thanks - I will try the Sunflower Oil instead.
