oooooh! i really want to come now!! not been to Brid or Whitby in years. In fact probably since my mam died which is near on 20 years now!!

how about sealife centre if it's not too expensive now?? I've not been there in a long time either though so reckon price might be a bit shocking by now.

Is it near that Mother wotsits petrifying caves? I went there when I was staying in Scarborough, there were lots of undergroundy bits and things like that. Shipley or Shipton I think her name was.

I am going to the pictures with my friend to cheer me up.

Groucy I love peaszone park and there is always the sealife centre if the weather is bad (get vouchers) Brid is showing its age at the moment I think. You could always try filey. Shame the water park isnt completed yet. You can always go to John Bull and watch them make rock.

Sealife is pricey now. There are loads of 2 for 1 offers but it's still steep sadly. We've been twice and we might give it a miss.

Peaholm park sounds like a good plan though. If Ed goes off beachcombing and the like.

We don't drive so we tend to get limited by public transport. There are trains to Brid and I've found a bus to Whitby that only takes 1 hr which is OK really

OOOOo, Mallard...in steam Ed would love that so much. Thing is she's at RM with a cracked boiler atm (sorry North Yorks moors railway link) May do 2 days in Whit and B&B it for a night!

I've had friends over all day and have just done a quick hoover and tidy up.

Both dds are booked into an all day activity tomorrow, so I' will be doing a house rescuespread over four hours I'm goig to write a paper list tonight, but will try and pop on here too.

TMH Sounds like you had the same idea as me. Monday i drew round DD1 and DD2 and today i drew round DS1 and DS2. They have had a blast colouring and painting themselves. (pic in profile!)

Downside was the mess! I have pain on the carpet. I have hired a carpet cleaner for tomorrow (Another £30+ down the drain) was planning to hire one this summer anyway as the carpet stinks!

SW due tomorrow morn so the carpet will have to wait until she leaves.

Might take DC swimming Friday. Depends of o have any money left! Cash is in very short supply.
