I actully did it today,

my mum dropped off a big airer and I thought WTF, ill do it as its so hot..

I felt it.

I felt the 'smugness' of a line of washing out in the sun

I feel like an old mum

Oh, have done another wash BTW and should I put it out for a few hours or wait till tomorrow?

I don't want to put it in the dryer

I love seeing my washing drying quickly in the lovely sun and breeze.

How do you normally dry your clothes DPB?

3littlefrogs · 28/07/2008 19:35

I don't know where you live, but I would. It is still like a sauna outside where I am.

Cies · 28/07/2008 19:36

ah. cross post. Well, think of all the electricity you're saving.

DisenchantedPlusBump · 28/07/2008 19:37

I regularly hang clothes out in the evening!

DisenchantedPlusBump · 28/07/2008 20:03

Do you leave them overnight?

Or bring them in?

i was just thinking of hanging it out too, though it might be dark by the time it's out the washer

Ooo - I'm such a laundry geek! I love that sight of washing 'cooking' in bright sunshine, and have done heaps of it this last few days. BTW think it's fine to leave it out overnight if you're sure there's no rain around and the next day is going to be sunny. (Mind you... there's nothing nicer in winter than taking a hot pile of laundry out of the drier. I'm a sad laundry-adict, I know ).
