DH sat in a patch of oil whilst wearing linen trousers last night, any suggestions on how to get them clean?

Engine oil? Vanish will shift that - you need to apply it before washing though.

I've discovered that a good long soak in Vanish followed by a good squirk of washing up liquid on the stain and then rub in a small capful of hydrogen peroxide solution and then throw in wash shifts most stains

Can't get any stain removal stuff here so have had to go back to basics and its worked!!
