Afternoon all
I have skimmed thread - hope everyone is ok today.

Had double flying to do today new tennants going into my other house so have been scrubbing bathroom and kitchen cupboards, had new carpets put in this week so at least they look good.

Managed to get morning routine done here before we set off so most things here are sorted for the weekend.

Have done meal planning for the coming week and been to sainsburys - lost my wrag with lady at checkout.. but she was being a jobsworth.

DS2 having a quick late afternoon nap got to get him up before halfpast or he will be a pain going to bed.

Better finish unpacking the shopping.

Evening ladies

I am NOT well. Doctors has been out I have a raging throat infection. I am 40 degrees plus, so have spent the say in bed and am on antiBs.

My wounds are fine and all that - this could just be bad luck or I could have slapped check.

lucysmam · 25/07/2008 18:32

Hi everyone, what a lovely day!
Sorry you are not well TMH I hope the antibiotics do the trick. Can adults have slapped face? Perhaps some ice cream would help with the temp??
Ruby did you manage not to slap the children?
Sagacious hope you dinner goes OK - I'm very impressed that you are on the PTA, what's that like?
Scatty thank you for the advice. I haven't read today's babystep and the whole Kelly's mission thing - forget about it!
Did manage to do
the hotspots this morning,
swish and swipe bathroom,
wash up,
5 minute room rescue - kitchen as usual
5 minutes cleaning kitchen door both sides
laundry on/and off line and new load in
cleaned and inspected a stack of raspberries and blackcurrants - that took aaages and wiggly worms and spiders everywhere.
Big walk
two visits to shops
declutter another book shelf - still to do
Put away Asda shop that just arrived
put very tired LO to bed before his head falls off with tiredness.
That's about it for now
Welcome Chefswife

rupert have a fab time
mad hope you're better soon

Well I am having a celebratory lager as my house looks fabulous ! (please ignore the ironing pile hidden in my bedroom)

I have 20 mins to chill then the hordes arrive

Have a fab weekend all !

EustaciaVye · 25/07/2008 19:54

Rupert - Have a nice time.

Mad - sounds pants. On a positive note if you are too ill to overdo it then your op wounds will heal quicker

I have found the last 2 days hard. DD1 not being at pre-school makes everything seem more difficult. Which makes me feel a bit rubbish at mummying.

Weekend

chefswife · 26/07/2008 22:01

yes, finally back and no i haven't been sleeping for two days. it's night time for you in the uk but only 2pm for me. lets see, what have i got done today, my usual get house things done day. woke up pissy. DH made me tea and brought it to bed, chatted for a bit and went to work. got up. muttered fuck a few times, (17weeks preg today so very moody) made breakfast, pissed around on the internet, just finished stuffing my face with trailmx, dreading the dishes in the sink and thinking about just crawling back into bed because i may wring someone's neck today so i'm not going anywhere. DH better bring home those cookies tonight like he promised. i can still grin even if it is a sinister right now. actually, i'm not that nasty, just crabby today.
