Choose your own babysteps

DS1 has wet he bed, so I have stripped, remade it and carried him back, as he was taking up all my space. DH was and still is dead to the world. I have put all the bedding in the wash and will hang it in the real morning

I am waiting the 10 mins then I can have some more painkillers. I am sore, but not too bad, just find it easier to get to sleep if it doesnt hurt so much when I move.

We put up a baby gazebo and a paddling pool, so the boys can have fun in the sun today and I can relax on the sun lounger.

greyskull Just read your post, sorry for your loss, I went through the same inbetween my eldest and middle one its usually unexplainable but so upsetting to go through (hugs)

Hi gang, can I join?

Having to commence this FLY business as have recently given up cleaner (sob) and as I work three days and have 2 small DSs, need to fit it in when I can, although very lucky that I predominantly work from skive work from home.

Today:

Dusted upstairs and down, hoovered down, and washed floors down.

3 loads of washing, all on the line.

30 minutes ironing.

Going to have to be a FLY situation from now on as can no-way do it all in one go.

hiya all!!.....gosh i hate this weather!!! its so muggy and sticky!!....cant really get in the shower as Dp had gone to collect a dishwasher - a large one as weve only got the tabletop one but was thinking i need a large one as more dishes to be washed!

here was my list

Morning

1. DD up, brekkie, bathed & dressed done

2. i had a shower done

3. Loaded DW and reloaded done

4. Washing on washing line done

5. 10 mins hotspot - tidied up living room and hoovered done afternoon

6. me and DD sorted the hospital bag..clothes in for now done

7. 10 mins hotspot - back room done

So today I have...

Put washing on line when machine finishes done
Finish packing children's clothes (off to Majorca on Sat!!) done
Start packing my clothes done - and finished
15 minutes tidy downstairs done - well did 30 minutes actually as after 15 it still looked dreadful
15 minutes upstairs done
Monday and Tuesday's missions done
Clean disgustingly filthy kitchen done- but needs doing again now after children have had their tea

Am feeling all smug now!
Will be back tomorrow

sorry to here of your loss greyskull it is a very upsetting thing to happen. do take your time to greive (sp?) and get over it in your own time.

i have done really well (for me) today. i finished my list before school this morning. then went to bank and shops to run some errands before going to my nans and taking her shopping. dd had a great time helping my auntie do some gardening. was interesting trying to help her understand what was weeds and ok to pull, and what werent
picked ds up from school then came home and did some more housework

i did:
put away breakfast dishes
cooked dinner
tidied kitchen sides
washed up
dried and put away dishes
unloded washer
ironing
cleaned windows
washed all floors
15 min decluttering in mine and dd's bedroom, it looks much better now. after i cleared it i hoovered and dusted in there. i even did todays mission with out realisimg and the past two missions when i checked in to see what i need to do next. which is a great bonus
