DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS TO KEEP DCS TOYS IN THE BATH...

normal mesh that sticks to the tiles keeps falling off as ds has quite a few toys and was thinking this would be better as the weight would be more evenally distributed. Any thoughts?

Well that one suctions to the tiles as well so I can't think it would be any better tbh.

The dses have a lot of toys but ours stays suctioned because I don't keep all the bath toys in at once; I rotate them occasionally - that way it stays up!

yeah i see the suctions i just thought that it has suctions at the top and bottom and also between 2 walls, surely better than just 2 at the top of the average mesh bag we've got. Dont want to buy it, use it and then find it just as crap! Dont have room to store the toys anywhere else plus i like them all up out of the bath for me plus easier when i do cleaning!

I've got a big rigid plastic container that hangs over the edge of the bath it is fantastic. will see if I can find it online

that doesnt work either! I think i know the thing you mean. A big plastic shell that sticks over side of bath? Does it take up alot of room? Is there still enough room for 2 dc in bath with it?

Chuck out all toys except for one set of stacking cups! I recently did this and DC haven't even noticed

we have 3 in the bath it it's fine, there is also a pelican version which has netting underneath.

When DH has a bath he just lift the whole thing off and leaves it in the sink/on the floor to give him more room.

these days dd only seems to take her 'normal' out of the bath toys in. Hoards of plastic cats, polly pocket junl etc.

tbh I think i need to have a clear out of the bath toys.

our dds mainly play with plastic dinosaurs and a fishing rod set and a set of stacking cups tbh

Mine only likes blooming harbour debris. I got in for a shower a few months ago and nearly screamed as I stepped on a lovely dead lugworm. Bleugh. Oh and a few sharp oyster shells and a fishing weight.

We don't need a bath tidy so much as a bath dredger...

i dont have anywhere to keep toys that he isnt playing with at that moment which is why the net was always handy as they were out of the way but still there IUSWIM. I really want something that stays in the bath but doesnt take up room!

I got one of these

from john lewis as it is EXACTLY the same as the one we had when I was little - but there was NO WAY it was that much. In fact it was £14 I can remember. That must be a mistake...I know everything has gone up but that is ridiculous!

mad4mybaby - definately do not buy the blue corner suction toy holder. We have it and it is crap!!! the suction is not very good and keeps falling off the wall, ends up heaped in the corner of the bath mostly. We haven't got a lot of toys in it either. i'm going to get a plastic bin and get DH to drill some holes in the bottom to drain the water out.

We use one of these but we've got a big lagged water pipe running across the ceiling above the bath, which is what we tie it to (on a long cord) I was going to stick a hook in the ceiling to do it though

I have a plastic washing basket the type for taken wet washing out of the line in for bath toys and store it in the bath, it has holes in the sides so it doesn't go all funny and smelly in the bottom, empty the toys out at bath time and take out of the bath and then refill at the end ! also easy to lift out when I want a soak !!!

i can imagaine dh face if i came home with that thing from ikea! Our b/room is quite small so it would be hilarious! I may well go down the plastic tub route although i didnt want to but it does seem alot of hassle otherwise! Might look in asda 2mo!

ive got a couple in my food cupboard for putting packets and spices etc in to i think i just need a bigger version. I got them from that mills place. £ shops a good bet too
