Sounds right to me, I have a bosch but dont think mine is the same model as yours but it has an intensive wash button which I use for loads that need a more throrough wash
(In the manual it says its a longer wash time for the removal of stains) - I mostly use in for grubby whites but ocasionally dirty rugby kit etc
