How to get rid of 'Fish Smell'?

I love cooking and eating fresh fish, but HATE the lingering smell.

I always cook with the back door open, put all packaging straight outside and wash up ASAP, but still have the smell!!!

Any tips from fellow fish lovers???

Have you tried the Chef's Candles you get from Lakeland?? I swear by them. Just light a couple once the cooking has finished and by the time we've finished the meal the smell has gone. Have a look at them here

a tip I picked up from mumsnet ages ago: pour some malt vinegar into a saucer and leave on the work-surface in the kitchen with the windows open

Weirdly it is very effective.
