i'm thinking about paying someone to deep clean my oven (my most hated job). has anyone used a company to do this and what is a ballpark figure for the cost?

I've heard this company is good, don't know about prices, and i've not used them, but know people who have and they have got rave reviews.

www.ovenu.co.uk

Have often thought about using them myself

I paid £45.00 for a 700 range cooker to be cleaned, it looks like new now!

Ovenu are amazing, you will not regret it. Was like brand new. I think was about £70 for double oven, hob and extractor fan, including new filter and spares? Whole thing like brand new.

I did feel so ashamed of my oven when the lovely man came to clean it, but as he pointed out, if the oven wasn't dirty, I wouldn't be paying him to clean it.

nailpolish - thx for sorting my 2nd thread out, i'm a bit of an amateur at this!

looks like Ovenu could be the people to use. £70 seems like a bargain to get it looking brand new, complete with parts.

thank you for the replies.
