Thought I could manage this with 14 week old when he is settled or napping. The trouble is he seems to be clingy at the mo and I just can't get going with it, any ideas? Not doing it is not an option BTW as the room has been damp and mouldy and is throughly depressing the way it is

Sorry I can't help but if you work out how let me know as my 6 month old DD is exactly the same and we REALLY need to sort her room out so she can go in there.

I remember tying DS on to my back african stylee using a pashmina when I was painting and he wanted me to hold him. Would that work?

Oooh possibly, we've got a carrier thingy I could use. Trouble is I need to lug out heavy furniture first and need to do skirting boards and sand floor - argh! We might have to do it in shifts at the weekend or end up doing it when he's gone to bed, maybe that could be an option for you LS?
