Morning Guys. Much sympathy to those with nightmare challenging children atm.

House a bit of a mess but generally clean. Need to do stuff but finding it a bit hard to get going. Might be pmt. Not sure.

lucysmam · 17/07/2008 08:58

good morning ladies!

hope you're all well? I'm knackered! My oh snored very loudly last night n kept me up for ever!!!

Plans for today are
1- wash chair covers and back on by this afternoon
2-finalise shopping list for tomorrow
3-finish paperwork sorting
4-babystep3 which and mission which I'm off to investigate in a mo
5-see what else gets done as mil & fil coming over for day before he starts new job monday and is away at work all week

shannar I feel for your lo, had chicken pox not long ago n is awful imo!

lucysmam · 17/07/2008 09:02

I have a question, I've just read the mission for today & she says spray bathtub with windex but surely that will make it slippy??

Think I'll leave that 1 as lo stands up in tub all the time lately which is a nightmare

TheMadHouse · 17/07/2008 09:09

Lucysmam Just clean the bath with whatever you would nomally use.

EV Get going you slacker

Tiger you have an excuse. I hope that the pox are OK second time round - I really feel for you

Sag Wine - well self inflicted, no sympathy from me, only

Ruby Hope you are feeling better.

I have just had my pre op telephone assesment - what a waste of a phone call - all stuff that was covered at the hospital earlier - does your house have 2 floors, can you get up the stairs, have you read your leaflet.

Anywhoo - we are off to Aldi this am to finnish the shopping and then no plans for this afternoon.

Flying is not going to be easy over the summer as DS1 doesnt nap nd pretty much needs constant attention, especially as he misses DS2 when he is asleep

I got a large roll of paper from Ikea, so I might draw round him and let him colour it all in - well see

I just need to do the basics and the ironing TBH

BiancaCastafiore · 17/07/2008 09:15

TMH we did a draw round and cut out/colour-in of dd when she was 4 and she still has it on her bedroom wall, it's lovely
Ruby sorry your dds were naughty yesterday. I too am looking forward to the holidays, my dd esp is v tired towards the end of term and so we clash a lot...can't wait till next Thurs when we'll all be still in our pjs

Sports day yesterday was good fun, the weather was gorgeous so lounging around on the school field was really rather nice I then did my voluntaryy stint at the school for a couple of hours and cleared out their arts and craft cupboard I was much better at it than I am at clearing my own cupboards at home

I am trying to sort costumes for the school summer fete tomorrow so will be trawling the charity shops this morning. Have lots to do FLY wise but no motivation time to do it

lucysmam · 17/07/2008 09:18

sagacious · 17/07/2008 09:27

Morning all

Sorry haven't caught up with the thread from yesterday, busy day here again. Need to get some ironing done at some point and potter around doing the usual. Promised the kids I would take them to the funfair that's arrived for a few days tonight if it's not raining but the clouds are thickening already here so who knows

Right better make a start on everything and if anyone has some good cures for insomnia please let me know I'm awake most nights and am constantly waking up at 5am for some reason and I'm permanently exhausted lately!

Have a good day

Jas · 17/07/2008 09:41

I was very pleased with the standard of dd2s work. She constantly surprises me. I suspect I am guilty of comparing her to dd1, however hard I try not to. They are so different in almost every way
