1 - you might suck up the voile curtains and break the hoover, causing smoke to fill the lounge and coughing to ensue......

((DH will not be happy....already broke the lid of the kettle this week {altho still usable right now as long as I pour carefully}, and the water filter lid, and the glass lids on one of my pans, and several wine glasses.......))

micci25 · 04/07/2008 11:54

sounds like something i would do! i have convos with dp about our hoover!!
can you fix the dyson its blocked again
can you see whats blocking it
no ive trired unblocking it but i cant find anything

why is there a cardigan up the hoover?
oh is that what that was?

cheesesarnie · 04/07/2008 11:54

posh curtains.

Psychomum5 · 04/07/2008 11:59

I did!

curtains are now a wee bit torn crumpled looking, and the hoover is still smoking and now outside,.....DH is not too mad, it has been cutting out for a while when it gts hot anyway (big house, and I hoover everything so it is on for over 2hrs when I hoover the entire house {maybe that would be why it over heats})

anyhoooo...........tis a dyson too, so not a cheap fix.

well i hoovered today so wont be doing it for another 6 months so you can use minelol.

WeeBesom · 04/07/2008 12:15

I had to call up and get my dyson repaired once they said it would cost £50 for all parts needed, labour/callout charge included.

Psychomum5 · 04/07/2008 13:27

DH is taking ours in somewhere tomorrow (so he claims!)

cheese...thankyou for the offer, I may take you up on it

reason no. two.....

you hang out the washing, you go out telling DH to watch for rain, and you return, and it is raining, DH is instead watching 'survivor man' or some such stuff as to how to cope in the rain.......

but my washing is wet

why can they not do simple instructions???

maybe because I did not ask to fetch said washing in if it rained, he has now told me, just said to watch....

arghhhhhh

anyone got anymore 'reasons to avoid housework'........I will feel less alone

OP posts:
rumblethump · 04/07/2008 18:40

because no-one notices you have done any housework unless you don't do it...

and because it will need doing again the next day anyway..!

Psychomum5 · 04/07/2008 18:52

very true

what IS the point sometimes!!!
