how or what can i use to get my laminate floor nice and shiny again?

please help i am trying to get my house spotless for 9 a.m tomorrow

On a laminate floor??? madame are you serious????

momof2boys - if you don't have proper laminate floor cleaner, try warm water with a drop of washing up liquid. Use a soft mop, or an old piece of towelling tied to a broom.
You may have to clean it the old fashioned way, on hands and knees.

Whatever you do don't make it wet - only damp, and don't use furniture polish of any kind - you will turn it into a skating rink.

should have said, make sure you sweep it first so that it is clear of anything gritty.
