This is the nearest I can get to what I am replacing as I have had it since February 2000.

I don't need a blender and I don't need a hand mixer but there are so many new products now I am not sure what to get. Any help gratefully received.

I've got this one www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4226859/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CKitchen+and+laundry%7C9553 994/c2/2%7Ccat9553994%7CSmall+kitchen+appliances%7C9554115/c3/3%7Ccat9554115%7CFood+processors+a nd+mixers%7C9554134.htm It is really good. A bit loud on full blast. I don't use half the add ons but it was on offer in macro and cheaper than the ones without the add ons . I may use them some day. They do a cheaper version without the miriad of accessories about £34.99 I think. The plastic spatula is ace as well

itati · 04/07/2008 18:12

Anyone else have any ideas?

DH might be able to fix it but just in case....

Mistypeaks - I have the multipro and it is just gathering dust in my kitchen as it just too much bother when a quick hand blender (with chopper and whisk attachments) or mixer seems to do the job as well ..

Have you tried John Lewis - Kenwood food processors (on same Mistypeak wavelength)

Nagapie · 04/07/2008 18:21

here

itati · 04/07/2008 18:32

Damn. He's fixed it!
