ewwwwwwwwwwwww, vomit smell on carpet, urgent help needed........

Astonishing really, after very nearly 4 years my ds was sick on the carpet for the first time, as we have escaped this tradgedy for such a long time, I have no idea how to get the smell out, ideas please....

bicarb of soda powder?

Do the Shake n Vac and put the freshness back...

bi carb takes the smell of EVRYTHING away!..fab stuff!

Bicarb sounds fab, I have it in my cuboard, but what am i meant to do with it exactly???

Sprinkle it one - leave to dry for an hour or so and vac up

on - not one, obviously

or you can mix it with water to make a paste and scrub it in to the carpet with a brush

Might need a couple of applications to get rid completely

Thanks, ds is fine now, it happened yesternday AM so have already cleaned up all the vomit (eugh) so will try the paste thing, should I still leave to dry then hoover?
