Good Housekeeping Heaven - DP away until Friday

I have moved all his clutter from kitchen table, sofa, stairs & floor into the shed. My house is clean & I can pretend, until Friday, that I live in a nice ordered house where things are where they are meant to be at all times.

Oooh, I'm green with envy! My dh seems to leave a wake of clutter everywhere he goes. Since he is now self employed he is round the house all the time. There's a lot to be said for going OUT to work.

I love it when mine goes away, not just because of the messiness etc.,...........the place always feels more comfortable and organised when he is away!!

Ha! I am the opposite. Become a total slob when DH away, leave washing up for days and trash the place. When he is around I feel it is unfair on him to live in a hovel so I make an effort to get it straight by 8am everyday then I do still trash it through the dya.

When he is away though it dgoes for days and days, as long as he is away really.

Oddly his stuff left everywhere does do my head in. I just randomly put it into cupboards and he is impressed that I know where everything is.
