Best Robot Vacuum and Mop—Roborock or Ropvacnic? Honest Reviews
I am considering a robot vacuum to help keep up with dust, crumbs, and everyday floor cleaning. What I’m trying to figure out is whether it actually saves much work once you factor in cleaning the brushes, maintaining the dock, and picking things up before it runs.
Good pickup, reliable navigation, and an app that’s easy to use matter most to me. Mopping would be useful too, provided it does more than wipe a damp pad across the floor.
These are the two I’m considering:
Tikom Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, 5000Pa Robotic Vacuum Cleaner, 150 Min Max, App & Remote Control, Ideal for Hard Floor, Carpet, Pet Hair, Self-Charge (G8000 Max)

ROPVACNIC Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo 5200Pa Suction Robotic Cleaner

Both seem worth considering, but I’m undecided. If you own either, how well does it handle rugs, edges, and hair? Does it avoid cords and furniture reliably, or do you regularly have to rescue it?
I’d especially like to know how much weekly maintenance is involved and whether replacement bags, filters, and brushes get expensive.
After several months of use, would you buy yours again? Honest drawbacks, practical differences, and other models you’ve personally used would really help.

I have two Eufys and highly recommend them.
yes odd manual hair untangle but other wise find there way around furniture and cables.

ours are dry not mop ones so have to shut off the bathroom otherwise it leaves a mess in the shower and moves water around the bathroom!

In my experience the Robot vacuums that use a fixed pad to mop are ineffective, a roller is much better, or at least spinning pads.

The lack of a base station will mean it will need frequent attention.

If your budget is low, I would consider a vacuum only model with a base station, eg. Switchbot K11+

I currently have a EcoVac X8, and a Switchbot S20, and marginally prefer the Ecovac.

Both support the Matter smart home standard, so can be voice controlled, scheduled and set to run automatically when the house is empty

Both work very well, and can work un-attended for several weeks, with maintenance session every 2-3 weeks which takes 10 minutes.

Never heard of either of these brands and the price is suspiciously low for the amount of features they have crammed in.

IME if you buy something cheap go basic. If it's cheap and has all the buzzwords, it will be made very badly. I would not want to risk made badly with something with a lithium-ion battery especially where it has to handle water as well.

I have a Roborock and would buy it again. In the past, I had a basic model that promised mopping, but just wiped a cloth as it moved around. I wouldn't have one of those again.

Ours has a base station, so it empties into that, and the bag needs to be changed every 2-3 months. Less often in households without pets. It also has a clean water tank and a dirty one, so no filling a reservoir every time and it washes the mop heads itself. The tanks need emptying/refilling every few days.

I clean it every few days - again, if you don't have pets, you could do it less often. This involves rinsing the internal vacuum box and filter. I have a spare filter, so there is always a dry one ready to go in. Then flip over and remove brush. I do sometimes have to pull my hair from the ends, but usually, that just needs rinsing. Then quick wipe over sensors and good to go. The base station has a plastic platform that I rinse too. It takes less than tens mins to clean and reassemble.

On first use, the robot mapped our flat and we named the rooms. We do a scheduled clean every morning and often do another full clean after dinner too. Throughout the day, we might send it to do just one room. Pick up is excellent, and the mopping is good if expectations are managed. I still have to mop the floors sometimes.

i got one after reading on here. Best buy ever! We ended up with a eufy - dh always says buy cheap, buy twice - and on this occasion I agree. Got it half price on their website though.
it mops as well as vacuuming. DH said I love it more than him!
