What colour towels?

We've recently moved to a larger house and need more towels. I have 'white' which now vary from creamy to greyish from years of use. Our bathrooms are fairly neutral and modern. What colour towels would you get?

Not enough information! Can you share a pic?

On this amount of information: get your favourite colour.

We have a duck egg blue from M&S, has lasted years and still looks new.

I like the look of stripy and patterned ones I’ve seen. Back to my first flat style from early 2000s!

Be wary of John Lewis Egyptian cotton towels. We bought deep burgundy ones and they shed like crazy so much so that the grout around our newly installed shower was tinged pink. I ended up taking them all back and getting a refund.

Just buy a colour you like?

Teal

My tiles are white marbled in grey. I had white towels but have soft grey now. They match the grey in the tiles and I expect won’t discolour like white.

Bright blue or pink. Or really anything not white or dark to make washing easy.

By all means choose colours you like but whenever I have done that, within days some cleaning product bleaches them and ruins them, so I end up going back to white. Or white with a small embroidery picture such as beach huts.
I came to realise that there is a reason even 5 star hotels have exclusively white towels.
