Long lasting hob kettle, copper colour?

I have had a few cheap hob kettles (induction hob) and they don't last, steam comes out of the bottom (never good!) Can you recommend one that will last? Ideally copper plated/ coloured. Not too heavy metal a base (eg for an aga) as that is built to stay warm all day, while I use mine just for tea a couple of times, cold water and starting from cold like an electric kettle.

I think the problem is , is that copper is quite soft so as it contracts and expands the joints split.
It's not really what you asked for but I have this one ( not available on amazon atm ) its cast iron so as tough as hell , I have used it on my gas hob for the past 3 years and lots of times directly on the coals of a bbq.
It's sold as a teapot but I use it as a kettle, it keeps water hot for quite a long time.
The only thing I have to be careful of is the handle can get rather hot.

There are some coloured ones on amazon but i don't know if there's any copper coloured ones.
