Heated airer recommendations

Hi all do you rate your heated airer ? Can you recommend it or should I avoid it ? I’ve bought one which is useless ( not easy to put much on) so intend to take it back

I hang one item over each bar, or if I’ve got less stuff one item hanging across 2 bars. Then I cover it all over with an old spare double duvet cover. Sometimes hang shirts etc on hangers around the outside over the cover.
I keep it in a room with a dehumidifier (and usually a normal non heated airer loaded with clothes too). Most stuff dries overnight or nearly overnight if it’s packed v full. I often rearrange things a bit in the morning to allow the last bits to dry.

I really like ours and find it effective. But it’s not an instant drying solution unless you have just one or two things and lay them flat over the bars with a cover and turn them a few times.

I have a Lakeland too and lie things flat on it and then place other things on hangers and hang them from it. I use it on its own or combined with a dehumidifier and things dry very well.

I bought the big Lakeland one and returned it. Not fit for purpose at all. Difficult to use, didn’t hold much at all, took ages to dry anything. Horrid from my perspective.

I’ve had two Lakeland airers over time. Both aired both died at around the three year mark, which was incredibly annoying.
