Alternative to star drops all purpose cleaner

We have been using Stardrops cleaner for years, diluted 50/50 with water in a trigged spray for general kitchen cleaning. I like the “snappiness” of it. It gets stuff clean, but it’s discontinued I think as I can’t get it anywhere:

any alternatives? Tried pink method spray and don’t like it. Would ordinary washing up liquid diluted work?

Aldi do a powerhouse all purpose cleaner it's very good (smells lovely too)

Black Liquid Soap, Savon noir. Nothing better.

Stardrops was cheap though. Savon Noir very overpriced. No comparison.

Stardrops was very cheap, basic product, one bottle lasted about a year as we diluted it. We could afford the fancy one but I don't want to be buying endless plastic bottles, I don't really care about the smell and am not interested in antibacterial and the rest of it. washing up liquid might be the best solution.

I use the elbow grease spray in my kitchen, cheap as chips and has my granite tops absolutely perfect with no bother whatsoever. I’ve tried every special granite cleaner under the sun and none of them work as well as this.

I like diluted dish soap with a splash or two of ethanol mixed in.

Bloody loved Stardrops 😓 Elbow Grease should be protected at all costs. If they mess with The Pink Stuff too there will be ructions….

Do you have a home bargains near you? I get my Stardrops from there. As far as I’m aware it’s only the ammonia one that’s been discontinued.

Our local shop sells it - I got some for my mum who couldn't find it anywhere. If you can't get it in Home Bargains I could send you some?

I use washing up liquid diluted in spray bottle with a bit of zolflora mixed in. It’s not as good as star drops but does the job.

That's exactly what I use also. The only spray things I use is a leather cleaner for the sofa and window cleaning stuff. Aldi Magnum w up liquid too, it's as good as Fairy imo.

Anyone tried the Astonish ones from home bargains?

I use Dripak liquid soap, diluted, with a capful of Zoflora.

They’re absolutely fine. I understand why you like Star drops though, it get things amazingly clean. I had to stop using it as I’m asthmatic and I found the smell too overpowering.

Have you tried making your own spray cleaner?

Our local zero waste shop sells an all purpose cleaner so you can refill any bottle with it.
Having said that I mostly use washing up liquid for cleaning everything, but in soft water area so no limescale issues.

Fabulosa multi-surface cleaner, found in BnM etc.
One of the best I’ve used and cheap as chips.

Astonish products are usually good, I love Stardrops though, would hate to see that disappear. It was in our (nearish) Home bargains the other day.

It’s just vinegar and water. Make your own. Alternatively Bar Keepers friend is really good.

Washing up liquid on a warm wet cloth. The soap kills bacteria as well as cleaning grease etc.

The original Stardrops all round cleaner isn't vinegar and water. They do a white vinegar spray as well but it isn't the same as the original orange liquid

Stardrops is closest to washing up liquid and can be used to wash dishes. It is not vinegar and water.
