Shower mats with anti mould that actually work?

After coming back from holiday and finding the anti-slip mat in the bath mouldy....
We have an over bath shower with a mid-bath drain so it does need to be something that can be cut to shape, otherwise it won't fit (i e. full bath length mats are too big)

Do you remove it to let it dry after each use?

I do... Whether other members of the family do is another question!
ETA we have just got a new bath and needed a smaller mat. We did always take the old one out and it still went mouldy, I've just remembered.

I wish I could find one! Only me here and it still goes manky.

Get yourself down to B&M. Ignore all the anti-mould mats and buy the cheapest, most garish kid's bathmat you can find. Mine is an irredessant mermaid style, chosen by DD, and it's outlasted the branded ones by years! I think it's because the suckers are so big water doesn't pool. You still have to wash/scrub off the soap scum/red mould but it's never had black mould on it - and my bathroom is prone to damp.

We have Munchkin Grippy Dots. They are six colourful rubber dots you can stick anywhere in the bath. We bought them when dd1, now 11, was a baby so you can tell how long they last! No faff to remove and dry.

It looks like they are no longer made but you can still find new packs on ebay on ebay. There are similar cheaper ones too.

Is it me or do they always emit a weird smell? We don’t have one at home but whenever I’ve come across them when we’re away, they literally make me gag.

I’ve got 6 little stick on flower shaped non-slip pads. Got them from Amazon. You can get other shapes like fish or dolphins. I bung them in the dishwasher every now and then!
