Recommendations for a two-ring hob during a kitchen refit

I'm having a new kitchen this autumn and will be without a cooker for three months (I really want a Lacanche and am willing to put up with a long wait)

I am going to set up a makeshift kitchen in the dining room and have a microwave and an air fryer but I think I'll need a two ring (probably electric?) hob too.
They start around £40 for a Daewoo version. Cusimax is £60-70 and Russell Hobbs (the only name I know really) £50.
Has anyone used one and which would you recommend?

I would recommend going for an electric induction hob.

I bought a 2 ring portable induction hob from curry’s, brilliant for the 6 months we needed it for, about £80. Then I sol d it on.

We used the single IKEA induction hobs, they were brilliant for our 6 months out of a kitchen. We had a large air fryer but I think another thing that would have been really useful would have been an instant pot.

We used two separate plug in induction hobs - the advantage is more power. The disadvantage is that if you use both of them at the same time, and then turn on the kettle as well you overload the circuit.... We actually have one out permanently in addition to our cooker, but it's a 'standard' 4 ring one; we wouldn't need it if we had a range.
