Friday cleaning do you clean before the weekend or after?

Always curious how people organise their cleaning around the week I know some people prefer a clean home going into the weekend and others tackle it on a Sunday. Just to be transparent I work with my cleanerHUB but before that I could never get the timing right! What works best for everyone here?

Prefer cleaning the house at the end of week, usually a Thursday or Friday.

I outsource. She cleans on a Thursday.
When she is away, I also outsource. To my husband.

Friday or Saturday morning so it’s nice the the weekend and the week ahead.

I did mine Friday this week. I prefer a Thursday or Friday clean

Randomly, not set routine. Just when I get the urge, less and less tbh

Sunday for main cleaning. DH does this and I tidy and bin stuff.

I do some weekday cleaning, DH keeps the kitchen clean. I aim not to wash up, I cook more than he does

I like a Friday clean - although it is just me so I don’t need to do much! But it’s just so nice waking up on a Saturday morning and not having to think about laundry or cleaning the shower screen 😂

Thursday evening or Friday morning so that it’s all done when we finish work on Friday.

I too outsource. Two hours each Monday and Friday.

Whenever I can fit it in which is mostly, not much hahaha

After the weekend, with a quick clean before the weekend

DH reckons to do all floors top to bottom of the house on Saturday morning. He's a bit shit and ignores cobwebs on skirtings, but I don't care.

I do all the other stuff like cooking, all laundry and dusting and indoor windows.

We both do a little every week day so it's not a single, massive job, and our weekends remain as cleaning-free as possible. Though if we're home, we'll usually tackle one or two things each just to get ahead or do one of the more unusual cleaning tasks. Works well.

My cleaner comes on Mondays. It makes them a bit less crap knowing I’m coming home to a beautifully clean home. If I were doing it myself I would probably do it Saturday morning.
