Bedding and towels

Good morning all

where would I look for decent quality but not expensive cotton or brushed cotton bedding sets and towel sets other than Dunelm?

moving home soon and would like new bedding and towels but unsure where to look

Asda. Honestly their towels and bedding are amazing. Look online at George at Asda rather than in store for more choice.

My Dad just bought some from Waitrose that are John Lewis and they are really nice.

I don’t know about brushed cotton bedding .
I do however buy towels from Next and they’ve always been good quality.

I think I've got all my bedding from Terry's and towels from John Lewis.

Yes Asda, Sainsbury’s too, in fact supermarkets are great for inexpensive household goods, go to a large branch for the most choice or both asda and Sainsburys have order online (Sainsburys is via Argos)

Most of Sainsbury's bedding is easycare (polyester cotton mix) and not nearly as nice to sleep on as pure cotton. If you don't like Dunhelm, but don't want to spend a fortune look at IKEA, and John Lewis budget rages. But stick to pure cotton.

Matalan towels are Which? Best Buys and they are great quality and very reasonably priced.

Can I recommend not buying the own brand towels from Dunelm? I bought a set at Christmas and despite being washed weekly they’re STILL shedding a huge amount of fluff. I can’t justify getting rid of them as they’re so new but they’re driving me up the wall

Watching! I’ve just bought some bedding as new larger super king bed been ordered. I bought some cotton ones on sale from Soak & sleep, but didn’t want to get two in case the brand isn’t good
I LOVED an old Jasper Conran duvet cover but they’re expensive … the one I bought approx 25 years ago was in the bargain basement bucket lol
