Are those cloth-grip mops any good, or just another gadget?

Has anyone got one of those mops I keep seeing advertised, not the Flash ones. The ones which say they grip any household cloth, wipes or kitchen roll?
Im getting inundated with the reels showing them and they look really good but Im a sucker for gadgets and Ive made so many costly mistakes.

Not really. It's just a fancy duster/floorcloth.

I keep eyeing those up. I don’t want to use the ones for disposable wipes and I’m a bit too lazy to get the steam mop out every day, but I do want to keep the floors cleaner. Might have to bite the bullet.

They are good for a quick wipe over if you’re in a hurry.
