I think my washing machine is well overdue for a clean. So does anyone have any tips on the best thing to use?

I think soda crystals, someone said. And white vinegar, though not sure if at the same time or separately.

hmm, wonder if this could win a 'most boring post' competition? Such an exciting life I lead

i used soda and vinegar, it worked for a bit, but i think the machine was doomed and died today.

Hey Rosmerta - think of the glow of Bree Van der Kamp satisfaction when your machine is all shiny once more!!
Run a 90 wash with a cup of white vinegar every once in a while - does help with mouldy whiffs.

... should read 'with JUST a cup' - could do strange things to your wash!
