Thinking about buying one. Are they any good? Comfy?

The raised ones are bloody marvellous. We have several because we run a recording studio and they are great for when we have an overflow of people staying here unexpectedly. They inflate really quickly and stay up really well (though you do have to add air every couple of days but you just press a button.

The only problem with them is that you actually need quite expensive sheets because cheap fitted sheets don't fit them (they are a bit deeper than normal mattresses you see.)

Also it's wise to inflate them on a rug or blanket because otherwise they can skitter across the floor as you lie down which is disconcerting.

Tesco or ebay are the cheapest suppliers btw.

Got a low down one not a raised one, it's fine, it is better than a normal airbed, it is quick to inflate and deflate with none of that endless faffing about with footpumps. But at the end of the day it's still an airbed i.e if one of you bounces around the other once does too! Got mine off e-bay.
