Miele vacuum help!

Hi everyone

bought a Miele vacuum and off I went around the house. Initially impressed but the cord won’t wind back in..what am I doing wrong or is it faulty? Instructions say press this button the bottom right but nothing happens!

It's probably faulty. If it's in warranty return it.

If not open it up and see if you can fix it. It's actually very simple inside. I replaced a motor last year and thereby saved £150+.

some mieles you just press once and it winds back some you have to keep your finger on the button.

Thanks both I think it’s faulty then as I only bought it today and have tried pressing once and keeping finger on button
