Pasta sauce stain

Things I’ve tried to get it out of a white top (before machine washing)
fairy liquid scrub with sponge
washing gel direct on stain
vanish gel
bicarb/white vinegar scrub
soaking in washing liquid/water
It’s still visible after all that even though it’s faded a bit. Any more ideas?

I always soak and scrub with vanish, wash with Ariel, then dry in direct sunlight. The sunlight gets out the last of any stain

Yep, get it hanging out in the sun! The UV breaks down all those stains much better than any chemicals!

Hang it out on a sunny day.
Rewashed some 10 hear old musllns for dd's baby. The sun bleached them all spotless!

IME the sun gets rid of the stain better than any of the other things you've done. And I know this because I quite often forget to pre treat, wash as usual then the sun works its magic. Occasionally the sun needs to work its magic a second time, but it is indeed a miracle.

Right, it’s hanging out! I’ve not wanted it to let it dry in case it sets the stain so will see what transpires….its sunny spells here!

Spray Grease Away on it. Brilliant at dealing with stains.

If you’re talking about a tomato based stain the sun will 100% get rid of it 🙂

Came on to say the sun as well! Rescued.many a white top after eating pasta !

Toothpaste is great for oily stains, it may work for pasta sauce too.
