Heatwave chores

Which chores are you doing during the heatwave? I’ve washed our duvets and various blankets around the house. I’m going to do the DC’s winter coats tomorrow, is there anything else I should put on the list? Apart from laundry; laundry, laundry?!

Mainly just trying wash all the things that take ages to dry but that cannot go in the tumble dryer so have to wait until hot weather... Things like the settee cushion covers, rugs, curtains, outdoor coats and also washable shoes that can sit out in the sun to dry.

Pressure washing patios, paths, fences. Outdoor paint jobs?

I'm also getting annoyed that it takes a heat wave for me to notice the inside of the conservatory roof needs cleaning. That is not happening! 🥵

All the dog's bedding, toys, towels and so on.
The windows, the sun shows the dirt, but the cleaners are soo smeary too, it makes little difference.
Get the garden furniture set up. Cushions might need recovering.

Shoes are a good shout and I’m going to do dressing gowns.

Good idea to do some outside jobs so I can be in the sun. Perhaps I’ll sort the shed out which’ll mean a tip run! You need a cooler day to sort the conservatory.

I actually haven’t done a single load of washing since Thursday! Will do a few tomorrow morning, they’ll be dry by lunchtime.

Garden furniture is out but the patio is beyond saving which is a shame

@TheChosenTwo No rush, it’s nice all week but I’ m back to work on Tuesday so it’s easier to get through more loads when I’m at home
