Help! Hate cleaning Air Fryer!

I've had a Ninja Dual for a few years. I hate cleaning the bloody thing. It's getting more and more tacky marks in the drawers and on the crisper trays.

I usually handwash but resorted to putting them in the dishwasher yesterday and they barely look any different.

It gets particularly bad after I've cooked meat in it. I always leave the drawers soaking in hot soapy water.

Please tell me how you clean yours....

Soaked with a dishwasher tablet or washing powder overnight and then into the dishwasher

Buy one that has shelves and a rotisserie rod, not baskets. Much easier to keep clean.

As soon as I remove the food I soak it in hot soapy water. All ok so far.

Doesn't that stop the air circulating in the, erm, air fryer?

Same problem here. I do occasionally use the liners which helps but it also stops the food from cooking as quickly and things don’t crispen up as well if the liners in there. My dishwasher is pretty good but I find soaking them in hot soapy (green fairy!) works the best. But the trays are definitely not easy to clean. I tried that elbow grease air fryer cleaner and that was not as good as green fairy.

Try washing the drawers in a hot solution of bio washing detergent
