Denby Monsoon Cosmic china

I've been looking for new (2nd hand) china and I've fancied the denby/monsoon cosmic pattern

But a lot of the 2nd hand sales are commenting that the pattern is faded/marked/chipped is it a hard set to keep perfect?

What other (older) patterns might i like?

I've had a tea set in this patten for a fair few years, it's still perfect. I hand wash it, maybe people are using the dishwasher?

Hmm i would be dishwashing, is it not dishwasher safe?
