For a few years we have used “who gives a crap”
i find it extremely good value compared to supermarket TP but it is not the softest and 48 loo rolls coming at once is a challenge!

i am considering switching. I really like the longer loo rolls but i would like something a bit softer and still roughly the same price.
ive seen bumboo, naked paper and cheeky panda

im not sure about the wrapping - is it necessary? I think we could do without but maybe, as it is such a large number of rolls the wrapping is a good idea for storage (protection + visual aesthetic)

Whats your opinion/recommendation if you have tried a few? (Family of 5)

We switched to Bazoo and I much prefer it. Softer and a bit more “sturdy” when wiping if you get what I mean. I love the convenience of only having to think about loo roll 3/4 times a year

I'm pretty sure that Cheeky Panda and Who Gives a Crap do a luxury soft version of their products

i did a comparison. not sure i understand the attraction. it’s not any cheaper than aldi stuff - even if you take the fact each roll of Crap is double the length. However you’d have to change rolls of Crap less frequently and delivery is convenient but storage isn’t!

I’ve tried all of them any prefer WGAC. Yes, there’s a lot, we store them in the cupboard under the stairs.

Placestogo · 06/05/2026 16:08

@Tortephantcan you say why WGAC is best?

I'm with naked panda. I'm more than happy with it and find it soft enough for comfort!
