How can I restore a teddy stained green by bedding dye?

Hi!
My daughter is in her late teens, but has a teddy from when she was little. We bought dark green bedding a while back, and although we washed it before use, we didn’t really realise that it spread the colour for a while, slowly turning things in her room green. It happened over months and so we didn’t really see it happening, but when we look at old photos of her teddy, he was a lovely beige colour with a cream face, and now he’s tinged with green and looks dirty.
I’ve tried gently washing him, and leaving him in the sun, but there’s been no change. I’m wary of putting anything chemical on, incase it eats away at the fabric over time and causes damage. I think we may not be able to do anything to restore him, but thought I’d ask here in case anyone has a great idea that we’ve not thought of.

Thanks!

That Vanish stuff (comes in a bar like soap) is pretty good. You could try that.

Great thanks! I’ve never used that before so will give it a try.
