I wonder if anyone can help me with this. We have just bought an air conditioning unit for DS’s bedroom which gets very hot in warm weather. There is quite a thick carpet in the room. Is it OK to stand the unit straight on the carpet, or do we need to get some kind of mat to go underneath the unit? If we need to buy something, does anyone have any recommendations?
