They make a set that look exactly the same as my dryer balls for the washing machine (supposed to make clothes softer without fabric detergent)

ummm id guess no

they are for use in tumble dryers

What are you intending to use them for in the washing machine?

Lauriefairycake · 20/06/2008 19:15

they look exactly the same as the ones for the washing machine which prevent the need for fabric softener

so they do the same in the washing machine that they do in the dryer apparently

haven't tried it yet but need another use for them as won't be using the tumble drier for months

I've got a proper wash ball for the washing machine, but also 2 spiky ball thingies for the tumble dryer. I don't use fabric softener.
Actually a colleague of mine just puts 2 white tennis balls in his washing machine. He says they do the same job.
