Best spray for bathrooms?!

BunnyWabbit2000 · 28/04/2026 20:48

We have a lovely downstairs bathroom. I need a nice way if keeping it smelling nice when people use it. I assume a diffuser won't be powerful enough when needed? I don't want a can of Febreeze by the loo. Any suggestions please?

An open window will do the trick OP

Not helpful when it's cold, there is a blind which can be awkward etc so that's why I asked for recommendations of a spray.

Geodesis diffusers are very good, I use them for his purpose.
having said that the people I buy form have a new range that could work but I haven’t tried it.

Cold or not a few minutes of fresh air has to be better than chemicals. I’d remove the blind rather than choose to not air a bathroom and just spray over it, not least for health reasons.

Open window (even for a few mins if it’s cold), and light a match/blow it out

Better than any cover up spray

Adding chemical scents just makes things worse

Purdy & Figg Oo de loo smells lovely. You just put a couple of drops in the toilet or sink and it smells so fresh and nice. It's cheaper to buy direct from them but still not cheap. You can get on Amazon as well but it's £20

Alternatively use air freshener but don't put it on display. We keep ours in a cupboard.

Following as we don’t have a window in our downstairs loo! I use febreeze at the moment but would like something nicer

Air wick active fresh room spray- it’s more like a spritz than a spray and it smells very subtle yet does the job!
