Keeping my beautiful new coffee maker beautiful !

I just splashed out on a lovely cream coloured Delonghi nespresso machine and would love some tips on how to keep it sparkling clean. It’s next to my hob which isn’t ideal for avoiding oil splashes but I have no other choice at the moment. (Kitchen is being renovated in June so hopefully I can find a better spot for it then but my old machine just died so I had to bring out the new one.)
Any helpful cleaning tips?

No idea about the external cleaning except I just clean mine with a normal kitchen cleaning spray - BUT! If you do nothing else, keep up with the descaling. No need to buy the Nespresso specific ones - just use the kettle descaling sachets. Called Oust I think. I had a machine that just died and it was due to not descaling regularly enough. Husband gave it to a work colleague to keep and fix and he did indeed fix it by dismantling the whole lot and actually running a dishwasher tablet through it. I didn’t have the patience for all that so bought a new one. But I’m keeping up with the descaling now. Pods are expensive but worth it. Enjoy !
