DS1 is currently on the naughty step for drawing on DS2's wooden trolley.
How do i get rid of his lovely drawing?
I've used a rubber but it's just made it lighter. So instead of black it's now grey.
Now what?

sandpaper

Microfibre cloth? ONe of those magic eraser sponge block things? Is it wax crayon, or pencil type crayon?

SpacePuppy · 19/06/2008 18:06

is it treated wood? if so heat slightly with hairdryer (about 30sec) wipe off with kitchen roll and then use a non-scratch scourer and soapy water. If it's untreated I'm not sure? All I can think is to sand it off then.

a product called astonish from lakeland is good.
But actually, toothpaste will work. Be very gentle, aything mildly abrasive may remove varnish a little.

Dragonbutter · 19/06/2008 18:08

wax crayon.
so you reckon sandpaper.
what's a microfibre cloth?
i tried a babywipe on their also because they.re pretty good with most things but no effect.

seriously, try toothpaste! (but not the gel kind)

Dragonbutter · 19/06/2008 18:10

the trolley isn't varnished. it's the ELC one here.

ok choose a toothpaste.
a) colgate whitening (it's blue)
b) some hippy organic stuff
c) childrens toothpaste
