I can see gunk around the area and cannot get to it. Did 2x 90c washes - as first time it stank. Used a washing machine cleaner.

It’s better than what it was but the gunk is smelling

Same issue here. I took out white sheets today and then had to rewash as they collected gunk on the way out. I’ve wiped it but it’s still a bit grim.

Same here, really annoying. I did a machine wash but still getting little flecks of black gunk coming out on the clothes.

It’s better but not gone - will be watching this thread in case anyone has a better solution! Is it just a matter of doing several machine washes?

Rubber gloves and a cloth forced in between pulling / pushing it along. Fold the gasket back and get the cloth under it and between gasket and drum. Old toothbrush to scrub.
i had mold all along the front. Finally just poured bleach in and let it sit 20 mins or so then ran the tub clean mode. I noticed sludge at the front drain holes and that allowed water to collect which leads to mold, so dug that out and folded gasket back and managed to clean under it. Tub clean mode alone isn't enough. You need to physically clean gasket , in it, under it and between it and drum. It's an utter PITA.
