What is all this flylady stuff about?

Talkabout coming late to the party. I did look at the website a few months ago but could n't really understand it.

Please can someone explain what the flylay website is all about? And indeed what half of all the associated threads on here are about as I can't seem to understand them! They look like they are some kind of self help cleaning mantra.

Can some kind person please enlighten me?

hi flylady is a mad american woman trying to help the "housework challenged" like myself that have trouble knowing where to start to get organised. the idea is you start of with her "babysteps" and 15 mins decluttering in a "flyzone" (different room of the house) each day. then move on to doing her missions which she gives daily. for example todays was cleaning the bathroom sink well.
those of us that post on the fly threads here try and support each other in doing our chores and a bit of a general chat as we go. some of us post housework lists on the thread to try and motivate ourselves to actually do something

Well I'm just there for the general gossip/chat and motivation. I find all the FLY crew just a lovely bunch of ladies who have been nothing but supportive and friendly from day 1

sounds good to me - how do I join? Do you register with the site? Also are there daily threads on here that match the daily jobs set on the site?

you can sign up through the website although its not necessary- you do get quite a few emails if you do. just jump on one of the daily threads on here and join in the fun whoever gets here first starts off the new days thread and links the days mission to thread.
