Best way to get blood off a sofa please

We have rough-textured tweedy style fabric on the sofa and ds has just had a nose-bleed. I'm less concerned about ds as he is wipe-clean, I don't think the sofa is going to come out of this sparkling though.

TIA

I had a go with a flannel and cold water and it's got most of it out. If I use salt should I add it to the water and dip the flannel in it or should I sprinkle the salt directly onto the blood stain?

I'd mix the salt with a tiny bit of water ,make a paste rub that in and then blot off
