The 'Re-cluttering' thread

I'm a big believer in decluttering, and getting rid of anything that isn't useful or precious to you. However I think it's important to acknowledge that sometimes we need to acquire new things that tick either or both of those boxes!

I've just ordered a butterdish, a lovely 'Wrendale' one, as I'm tired of my butter just being wrapped in it's greasy paper. It was really expensive but I think worth it for the joy it will spark, as I love the Wrendale designs.

I've also ordered a nice ring binder for my recipes that are just cut out of magazines etc

I need another pair of scissors. I use the same ones for kitchen stuff and wrapping and am sick of them always being in the wrong place, so I'm going to have one set for the kitchen and another in the gift cupboard from now on!

I'm toying with the idea of a pretty storage box for my stockpiled birthday cards. Right now they're just shoved in a small plastic carrier bag - not very aesthetic!

I need a new bikini. I'm struggling to find one as yet. I hope there'll be more in the shops as summer gets underway

What's on your 'recluttering' list?

Things that you will use , and love , are worth the ‘ reclutter ‘
I’m with you on the butter dish , I got one as a present for Christmas, glass and I’m delighted with it
it gives a little boost every time I see it , and to
me that’s worth it
