Lighter in the tumble dryer broke…

Just a quick one my DH didn’t empty his pockets and now a disposable lighter broke apart in our tumble dryer… 🤦‍♀️

He says there wasn’t much gas left anyway.. but am I best letting it air out today? Should I wash the fitlers just to be safe? Do i need to clean the drum?

With the warm airflow in the drier the lighter fuel would have vaporised and dispersed very quickly. I wouldn't worry about it. Of possibly more concern is to make sure that you have all the bits of the lighter and, if not, to check the filters etc to check there isn't something wedged somewhere.
